This is Gravity
When vision meets relentless determination, the future isn’t predicted — it’s engineered.
Gravity pursues the extraordinary by challenging convention, questioning limits and building what others only imagine — through raw, authentic innovation.

Gravity pursues the extraordinary by challenging convention, questioning limits and building what others only imagine — through raw, authentic innovation.

The relentless pursuit of breaking, learning and succeeding
What if? That’s the question we continuously ask ourselves — the spark that drives us to play, break, rebuild, and push ideas further than before. Gravity was born from that restless curiosity, the instinct to experiment, refine, and chase the insight hidden inside every attempt.
That spirit is what made the dream of human flight a reality. Every challenge becomes fuel, every setback a lesson, and every iteration a step toward engineering the impossible. From rough early prototypes to the precision-crafted Jet Suit we fly today, Gravity embodies authentic innovation and redefines what's possible.
An ethos for change
Progress is born from a daring vision, restless curiosity, and the refusal to stand still.
We endure relentless setbacks and challenges, in the pursuit of ambitious breakthrough.
Gravity is fuelled by a passionate, diverse team of people who are unafraid of failure.

Born to fly
From the outset, Gravity was driven by a simple but powerful question — what if. What if human flight was not just imagined, but realised? What began as ambition quickly became engineering, as founder Richard Browning pushed the limits of what the human body and technology could achieve together.
Inspired by his late father, an aeronautical engineer and maverick innovator, and his own experience as a Royal Marines Reservist, Richard developed the world’s first human Jet Suit — turning concept into capability and establishing a new category of flight. Since launching in 2017, Gravity has grown from a British startup into an $80 million global business and a recognised symbol of authentic innovation, cutting-edge technology and human potential.
Relentless iteration continues to redefine what’s possible — inspiring a generation to ask the very same question.
Proving what’s possible
Challenging conventional thinking, early experimentation quickly moved from concept to reality.
The first prototypes emerged in March 2016 with Richard successfully completing the first off-ground flight in November 2016, powered by a system of gas turbines across the arms and legs. Rapid refinement followed, leading to the public launch of Gravity Industries in April 2017.
Today, the latest Mk4 Gravity Jet Suits, manufactured using polymer, aluminium and titanium 3D printing processes, with micro jet arm engines for upward thrust and three additional micro turbines in the back, have achieved flights of over 80mph — truly making the impossible possible.
Continuously challenging what’s possible
The belief that innovation depends on embracing the risk of failure sits at the core of everything Gravity does — from the earliest prototypes tested to the operational programmes now under development with global organisations.
Through relentless research and development, improving the Jet Suit systems year after year, Gravity is a company that does not just demonstrate innovation, but embodies it — refusing to accept the boundaries others set.
It continues to inspire audiences to embrace innovation through adversity and rethink what’s possible when imagination meets perseverance and grit.
Bringing technology to the masses
Backed by private investors, Gravity has continued to scale rapidly since launch, achieving a near nine-figure valuation in just seven years.
It has entertained millions through its commercial flights and transformed rapid-deployment response organisations operating in environments that are traditionally slow or difficult to reach, including maritime boarding, coastal operations, and mountain rescue.
To date, Richard and his cohort of pilots have completed over 300 flight events worldwide, including its inaugural International Race Series and through its ever-popular, publicly accessible Flight Experience and Training facilities in the UK and US.
A beacon for fearless pioneers
Gravity has evolved from an impossible dream into a globally recognised phenomenon, inspiring millions to dare to imagine the impossible.
Its well-established entertainment and commercial programmes continue to captivate audiences across music, sport and corporate events worldwide, while its ability to move from spectacle to real-world function has earned the attention of defence, military and medical response organisations globally.
The technology that began as proof of concept is becoming proof of capability. And this is still only the beginning.
